PLEASE HELP? with my sims game... it keeps crashing!?

Its saved onto my external harddrive. and I installed them all, the sims 2 and expansion packs without starting it... just one after the other. Then if i touch a key while its doing its intro it crashes, if it goes threw the intro it crashes on its owwn.... GRRRR... why wont it work!
