"How do I politely tell people on the invitation what my daughter wants for her birthday and not sound rude?

She always ends up getting toys she won't use and she prefers crafty stuff, clothes, and books. I want people to have an idea of what she likes, but at the same time not sound like I am telling them what do buy or to buy anything at all. What to do?
