What would you do?

i have decided to forgive my boyfriend, we were going out for 5 months then he cheated on me, he was then seeing that girl for over a year, he has only just been in touch and now i forgave him, he said he made a big mistake and he was scared but hes not anymore and likes to talk about our future, we are going to have a long distants relationship but are seeing each other every fortnight, i do trust him, just wondering if you all would trust him?
