What do you do after army/navy?

I'm @ a crossroad in life...finish up bachelors deg. or go join army/navy...but my main question/concern about joining army/navy is what do you do with yourself when you come back home?? for work, for money to make a living...I look @ it as if I stick w/t school for 2+ years I'll have a high paid career...coming home from army/navy I will only have a little bit of money for my time spent out there...and no skills to support myself and live a good life...what do people do when they're term is up from army/navy?
